Why a Retreat ?
Many of you ask a question which goes like this:
“I have already done the 2-month WhatsApp course, why should I join a retreat”.
The following testimonial from Padmini Dittakavi who just completed the Visalia retreat answers it well. 👇
Here's my testimonial to this Lalitha ji:
- We wake up to many new messages, each one, a long, text-heavy post. Very authentic text. But, do we really read every word of it?
- Do we really have the time to open and watch all the YouTube videos shared end to end?
- We are probably multi-tasking while reading these posts: working, cooking, taking care of kids, blah blah
- And probably when reading, we are being judgemental about what is being shared!
- We are probably comparing to other health gurus??
- Do we form a real support group, supporting each to start doing what we learnt?
- Can we feel that there are real people behind these messages with various health challenges?
- We may decide - this is just another impractical health scam?
- We don't know what others are feeling about the content.
- We think it's not practical.
- Nobody gives the green juice in your hands and says "now drink it and experience the difference yourself"
🙂But when we see 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+, 70+, 80+ year olds - all in one room, present there to learn what else they can do to improve their health the holistic way, each sharing their most confidential health challenges...
🙂When we know each busy professional has taken that time off to better their health
🙂 When we see authentic presentation of the content, we are fully focused...
🙂 When we are being served the breakfast, lunch & dinner - the way we learnt in theory ...
🙂We know we are not alone ...
🙂we believe it's doable
🙂We are all human beings, we need that empathy, we need that human energy, we need those shoulders to lean on...we need each other to follow these guidelines...
🙂Before retreat if someone asks:
what if I have to eat dairy based sweets on Diwali. We may not know the answer or we may say, eat and move on...
🙂After retreat: we can support each other with - hey, remember the tip that Lalith ji shared? Do that..
🙂After retreat, we actually do actions that impact our health
🙂 And the most important is:
We can experience the pure, unconditional, authentic desire and zeal of Lalith ji to help each of us.
🙂 From being Judgemental we become non-judgemental
🙂 Yes we need in person retreats* they are an out of the world experience!
